Safety Fair 2006 at the Oakland Avenue Charter School

The Oakland Police Department hosted the 2^nd Annual Children’s Safety Fair at the Oakland Avenue Charter School on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 from 0900 – 1300 hours.  Five agencies attended to provide safety information to students before they left for their summer vacations.  The Oakland Police Department provided a program on Bullying, Orange County Fire Rescue on Fire Safety, Health Central EMS on First Aid, Winter Garden Parks and Recreation on swimming safety and Orange County Sheriff's Office Communications on the 911 System.  

All children appeared to have a fun time during the educational outing held in the parking area of the school.  All agencies wish the children fun, happiness and safety during this summer.
