Consumer Confidence Report

A Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), which can be called an annual water quality report or a drinking water quality report, provides information on your local drinking water quality. Every community water supplier must provide an annual report by July 1 of each year to its customers, by mandate from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA).  The Town of Oakland is a local water supplier, as it pumps, treats, and distributes water to its customers.

Wetland Monitoring Report

The Town of Oakland withdrawals and distributes water to its customers within the daily allowance outlined in its approved Consumptive Use Permit, governed by the St. Johns River Water Management District.  As a condition of the permit, this report requires that the Town provide documentation verifying that the water sources (i.e. two water wells) are capable of supplying the needs (i.e. customer demand) authorized by this permit without causing significant harm to water and water-related resources, and that water production has not caused unacceptable adverse impacts to wetlands and lakes
